Real media texts-Music Video

I have made a basic analysis on three music videos looking into the various elements included within them. This will help me have an initial idea of how music videos work and what is expected of my own in order for it to look effective.

Make It Bun Dem-Skrillex, Dubstep	Eviction workers are taking away locals and try to evict a native American father and son from their house but the son uses spiritual rituals to stop them. 1. Equilibrium-natives at their home 2. Disruption-Eviction workers begin evicting locals 3. Recognition-Natives realise this and begin rituals 4. Resolving-Rain dance and eagle spirit used to stop eviction workers from evicting the natives 5. Equilibrium-Eviction workers leave them alone.	USA setting: -Iconography of typical US neighbourhood, iconic eagle, Native American characters (costume, Rain dance), US flag, Yellow bus. -Typography of eviction notice informs that they are being evicted,	Around 140	Cut	Class: -Upper class seen in formal black/ partly black clothing, presents them as more dominant but negative Ethnicity: Ethnic minority in positive light by brighter clothing compared to dark clothing of majority who wear darker clothing.
Biblical-Biffy Clyro, Rock	One of the artists wakes up and goes out of his house causing problems where he goes, he is then hit in the back and he wakes up again and repeats but this time helping and again ends up being hit. Relate to Lyrics “If you could would you go back to the start? Take any fresh steps or watch it all fall apart again?”	USA setting -Typography of 50 US dollar note	Around 90	-Cut -Jump cuts -Mostly tracking shots on artist	Age: -Lead singer helps boy out of pool. Presents adults as more powerful than youngsters as they are in need of adult help. -Singer pushing and breaking stuff, non-stereotypical view of adults being immature.
